SpringPointe HOA

Short Summary: SpringPointe built in 1983, is a Sonoran Desert lover’s dream. Located in Northwest Green Valley just south of Duval Mine Road, SpringPointe is comprised of 106 homes built in groups of four townhouses arranged primarily in cul-de-sacs. Professional and resident volunteers take care of the beautiful desert landscape that is scattered throughout our HOA. We have our own clubhouse where we have social events and board meetings.  The facility is also available for our homeowners for special events. Our location is ideal for easy access to I-19 and the various shops and stores located nearby in the Duval Mine Rd and the La Canada corridor.

Desert Hills III West

Short Summary: Desert Hills III West townhomes, built in the early 1980’s and conveniently located south of Continental Road, just off Camino del Sol are often described as “hidden gems”. Each home has either a direct view of the Santa Rita Mountains, or a view within yards of the front door.  Walk to Desert Hills GVR Center and the Canoa Hills GVR Center is just 1/2 mile away.  The 131 budget-friendly patio townhomes range in size from 962 to 1160 square feet.  The neighborhood is an age 55 restricted community, and all homes are GVR deeded. We have two home styles, and several layouts – each with an attached carport.  Homes on the outside perimeter of the neighborhood feature back patios while the remaining townhomes have only a front door, with a walled patio in front of the home.  We have many full-time residents and are a very active and friendly community with neighborhood activities such as an ice cream social, pizza party, potluck, and Halloween Pet Parade held throughout the year [...]

Desert Hills III East

Short Summary: Desert Hills 3 East, a small friendly community of 91 homes, enjoys picturesque views of the Santa Rita Mountains. It is bordered on three sides by large arroyos and hosts ample natural space with mature trees, wide varieties of shrubs, and cacti. Wildlife sightings are frequent and sunsets are vivid. The association features attached and stand-alone single level homes that offer low-maintenance stucco exteriors and main-level living. Homes have either garages or carports and some have golf cart garages as well.

Desert Ridge

Short Summary: Desert Ridge is a beautiful and well-managed community of 98 homes atop a ridge surrounded by the Desert Hills Golf Course. The landscaping displays the beauty of the Arizona desert with cactus and spectacularly flowering plants. Cactus and trees in the common areas and views of the golf course and the Santa Rita Mountains are enjoyed from each home. Hikers and bikers share the street with golf carts and cars. Although tucked away from through traffic, Desert Ridge is convenient to churches and GVR recreation centers, especially Desert Hills Recreation Center with a pool, tennis courts, fitness room, billiards, sauna, shuffleboard, ceramics studio, lapidary studio, art studio, and a large auditorium with a kitchen. HOA Members share their homes for monthly Thirsty Thursdays gatherings.

Desert Hills Estate

Short Summary: Desert Hills Estate Home Owners Association represents about 70 homes in a premier setting nestled between the Desert Hills Golf Club, an arroyo teaming with beautiful flora and wildlife, and endless state owned land. The homes built mostly in the 80’s are in the 2,500 to 3,500 square foot range all in unique Southwestern style. Most have been remodeled and updated. The lots are around 1 acre, giving the residents plenty of elbowroom. We are GVR but not age restricted. Desert Hills GVR is less than a ½ mile away. Our dues are around $25 per year. There are no better views of the Santa Ritas in Green Valley and living on the exclusive Golf Club fairways cant be beat

Canoa Seca Estates II

Short Summary: Canoa Seca Estates II, was built in 1992. Nestled on the western slopes in the Southwest section of Green Valley, we have spectacular views of the sunrise and sunsets casting hues of mauves, oranges, pinks and reds onto the Santa Rita Mountains in the East. There are 115 homes in the association, most of which are duplexes and 25 of which are free standing. The average square footage is approximately 2,000 sq. ft. The HOA is age restricted– one of the owners must be 55 or older. We have seven acres of common grounds which enhance the beauty of our homes and the desert environment overall.

Portillo Place HOA

Short Summary: A small HOA, just 28 free standing homes on 2 streets. Built in the mid-1990 Includes GVR, and within walking distance of 2 GVR recreation centers Centrally located and convenient to shopping, library, and Churches. The West Desert Trails is a short distance at the end of one our streets, and has over 15 miles of natural desert trails for walking, birding, mountain biking, and enjoyment of nature. Our neighboring HOA also has trails thru their neighborhood. All HOAs in this area have sidewalks for walking. All major streets have bike lanes, and residential streets have low/slow traffic. 1500-2000 sq ft custom built homes with mountain views.

Montana Vista

Short Summary: The Montaña Vista neighborhood, in the southwest corner of Green Valley, offers residents a rural atmosphere. The 228 properties range in size from 2-10 acres and have never been owned or built by a developer—100 of the plots are vacant. There is no Home Owner’s Association, so no covenants, contracts or restrictions apply (no age restriction!) aside from Pima County zoning and permitting regulations. Homes range from modest to impressive in a wide variety of styles. Residents keep horses, chickens, goats and other livestock; build casitas (small guest houses) and art studios; and enjoy ready access to the wild desert via an extensive trail and ranch track network. As the name of the neighborhood indicates, the uncrowded spaces here provide spectacular views of the Santa Rita Mountains.

The Fairways at Santa Rita Springs

Short Summary: The Fairways at Santa Rita Springs, built in the early 2000’s is one of the premier HOAs in Green Valley. It is surrounded on three sides by the Torres Blancas Golf Course and features scenic views of the Santa Rita Mountains. The 35 free standing homes in the HOA feature large lots, spacious common ground areas, and have an average of roughly 2,000 square feet of living space. This HOA is located just off the east I-19 frontage road, south of Continental Road. The HOA’s central location gives residents easy access to medical, shopping and recreational facilities. While the physical attributes of the HOA are impressive, the community spirit and good fellowship of the HOA members are even more outstanding. The residents of this HOA engage in a variety of social, recreational and community building events that are extremely important in developing a friendly, caring atmosphere that is enjoyed and appreciated by all the members.

Townhouse VI

Short Summary: Townhouse VI, built in 1973, is a Sonoran Desert lover’s dream. Centrally located in Green Valley off the 700 block of La Canada Drive, Townhouse VI is comprised of 90 homes built in strips of townhouses arranged to minimize the human footprint. Resident volunteers take care of the wide swaths of Sonoran Desert landscape that separate each parallel street from the next. Neighbors (and their dogs) meet regularly on the many footpaths—one includes a footbridge over a dry wash and leads immediately to a GVR recreation center with a pool, a spa, and a meeting room the HOA often uses for potlucks and other social gatherings. Another path leads to one of the three churches that are within easy walking distance. GVR’s West Center (performing arts auditorium, lap pool, shuffleboard, tennis, woodworkers shop, lapidary studio, billiards center, Artisan’s shop) and the Continental Shopping Center are 1/4 mile away. Townhouse VI is a low-key neighborhood where folks look out for each other.

Encanto Estates

Short Summary: Features 59 town homes built in the early 90's that range from 1100 to 1600 sq. ft. Beautiful view of the Santa Rita mountains with a gorgeous walking trail and less than a quarter of a mile  from Desert Hills GVR. All homes are deed in with GVR which is well worth it. Our HOA dues are lower than average. We own our own roads which we take great pride in; no pot holes here! Quail Creek

San Ignacio Villas

Short Summary: The San Ignacio Villas are located overlooking the San Ignacio Golf Club and offer wonderful views of the Santa Rita Mountains. These homes feature spacious two bedroom suites with an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining and living room. The second bedroom can be used as a separate guestroom unit as it has its own entry, refrigerator and wet bar. The HOA maintains a private pool and hot tub spa for members only. The Villas is conveniently located between the Canoa Hills and Canoa Ranch GVR centers that include pools, pickleball courts, workout rooms, shuffleboard and many more amenities.

Country Club North Homeowners Association

Short Summary: If you want to have lots of open area and trees in your neighborhood, in addition to your mountain views, then Country Club North is the HOA for you. Built in 1979 of quality construction (saving energy costs) and comprised of both stand-alone and town homes, County Club North was designed to include the greatest amount of common area in between and surrounding the development, which both the HOA and neighborhood volunteers maintain. The northern boundary is next to ranches and the eastern boundary is the Santa Cruz River. Centrally located in Country Club North is the Abrego North GVR Satellite Recreation Center with a brand new pool and spa and a renovated meeting room.

The Legends at Santa Rita Springs

Short Summary: The Legends at Santa Rita Springs in Green Valley, AZ, is located 1.3 miles south of Continental/Abrego intersection.  This unique community of detached homes offers views from the living rooms and back patios of the Santa Rita Mountains and open space behind each home maintained by HOA. The Legends is a very social community with activities ranging from whole association potlucks and special events to smaller monthly/weekly gatherings: ladies’ luncheons; men’s coffee groups; diversity of game groups; a weekly 9-hole golf outing followed by dinner out; and tours of southern Arizona attractions. The pool facility provides space for group and/or individual usage.  The HOA board consists of seven members and the assistance of a management company.  The Legends has a healthy reserve fund to cover future expenses.

Council of Casitas

Short Summary: Facing North Abrego Drive to the West, the Green Valley Country Club and Santa Rita Mountains to the East, Green Valley Casitas has 42 units. Built in 1973, each home has two bedrooms, two baths, with about 1200 square feet of living space, an enclosed garage, and patio to the rear. The buildings are connected condo-style with attractive common areas separating them. Most are members of Green Valley Recreation which has facilities throughout Green Valley offering numerous activities.

Valle Verde Townhomes

Short Summary: Valle Verde is one of the few NON AGE-RESTRICTED communities in Green Valley. We are located on the north end of town south of Duvall Mine Rd and west off of La Canada. We are a community of 88 condominiums with our very own pool and spa. We have a growing HOA that is continuously working on making sure our community shines and is a warm and inviting place to live. Las Campanas Soledad

Short Summary: Built in 2003-2004, Soledad, an HOA within the Las Campanas neighborhood, is centrally located off Desert Bell and Esperanza so its residents are within minutes of everything in Green Valley. There is easy access to I-19 to Tucson or south towards the border. Many of our 93 single family homes offer sweeping views of the mountains while others offer views of the desert and arroyos. Some homes have their own pools but the Las Campanas GVR Center, one of the largest and newest centers, is 3 minutes down the street. We are a warm, welcoming community which celebrates together at our annual fall Tri-Tip welcome back snowbirds BBQ, a January wine and cheese party and our Spring Fling dinner.

Canoa Estates II

Short Summary: Canoa Estates II is a group of 124 homes located in south central Green Valley to the west of Camino Del Sol. Our homes were built in 1987-1988 on a gentle slope just west of the Canoa Hills Social Center, and because we are on a gentle slope many of our homes have spectacular views of the Santa Rita mountain range to the east. The homes in our neighborhood were designed to optimize privacy, yet preserve the openness and views from nearly every property. We border the closed Canoa Hills Golf Course, which has become a wonderful open area with walking paths where we meet our neighbors and stay in touch. Our HOA is financially solvent and our well-funded reserves provide for regular and planned maintenance of our roads. The HOA Board meets four times annually and posts meeting minutes and financial reports on our HOA website for owner reference.
